Lead .SQL/.NET Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize SQL solutions in a data-first environment.
• Engage in database modeling, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Utilize SQL Server, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures for high-volume systems.
• Support application-layer development with C#/.NET.
• Contribute to data-heavy projects, particularly in Financial Services.
• Work with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Apply understanding of AI concepts where applicable.

Key Skills:

I'm currently working with a London-based Financial Services client who are looking to bring in multiple Senior SQL Developers with strong .NET experience for a long-term, business-critical, data-focused programme. This is not a typical Back End role - it's a data-first environment where SQL sits at the core of everything.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Extensive SQL development experience - essential
• Strong expertise in database modelling, performance tuning, and optimisation
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and Stored Procedures within high-volume, data-intensive systems
• Solid C#/. Net experience to support application-layer development
