p>A fabulous opportunity to join a successful, expanding mid tier law firm based in the City, London, as a Junior IT Information Security Analyst, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Working with and learning from the Information Security Manager, you will assist in supporting the firm's daily security operations which includes threat monitoring, incident response and reporting and vulnerability management. You will support and investigate information security incidents, maintain the firm's incident log ensuring they are flagged and resolved. You will help promote awareness of information security and best practice to all users and support the Information Security Manager in identifying opportunities and technologies to continually improve the firm's Information Security approach and strategy. You will support the development and review of policies and procedures and maintain and support the firm's ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials certifications.

This role will suit a Junior IT person with 18 months to 2 years IT experience in a law firm or similar professional firm who has a real passion and interest in developing a career in IT Information/Cyber Security. You will need to have strong communication skills so that you are comfortable and confident liaising with users and colleagues and have strong attention to detail and an analytical and problem solving mindset.

Technically you will need to have knowledge with (through using and/or courses) IT security tools such as Mimecast, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP), DarkInvader and Senseon for threat monitoring. You need to be keen to learn and happy working with reports, processes and procedures.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract but hopefully you will prove this role is needed by adding real value to the firm's Information Security offering and it will go permanent.
