Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles for jetting and vacuum services.
  • Work as part of a small team of 3-5 operatives on-site.
  • Complete daily drivers' defects and Near Miss reports.
  • Follow safety procedures and documentation.
  • Provide assistance in various parts of the plant as required.

Key Skills:

***** IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE***** ***** Temporary to Permanent Positions *****Our client is seeking flexible HGV JetVac Drivers to support their on-site infrastructure services within their UK operation. These positions are predominantly based on site at Port Talbot steelworks but will involve travelling and working away with nights out when covering other sites in England & Wales.

Job Role You will provide a variety of essential site jetting and vacuum services utilising a range of Class 2 HGV's including operation of vacuum tankers, jetting units in various parts of the plant. This will include on the job working within each small team of 3-5 operatives and being an integral part of the team. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements* HGV 2 licence & CPC qualification * Must be enthusiastic and committed with a flexible approach. * Must be able to work safely and follow safety procedures and documentation. * Able to complete daily drivers' defects, Near Miss reports. * Ability to take initiative on tasks with good attention to detail. * Previous experience in HP Water Jetting (WJA) / Vacuum Tanker Operations but not essential

Shift Pattern * Monday to Friday Days - 40 hours per week. * Overtime Available - Weekdays, Saturday & Sundays* Monday to Friday up to 8 hours - £14.04 per hour * Monday to Friday over 8 hours - £19.56 per hour * Saturday first 4 hour - £19.56 per hour, after 4 hours £25.60 per hour * Sunday all hours - £25.60 per hour

When working away you will receive the below additional payments:* £25 per day subsistence payment for food and drink * £1 per hour for every hour worked* Travel time paid at basic hourly rate
