ITQ Level 2 Tutor – Temporary Contract

Role Description: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic ITQ Level 2 Tutor to support learners in completing their Level 2 qualification within a further education setting. You will play a key role in helping students develop practical IT skills, build confidence, and achieve their qualification outcomes.

Schedule:

• Initial period: 6 hours per week, every Tuesday for 3 consecutive weeks to complete the Level 2 qualification.
• Following period: Sessions will reduce to 3 hours per week for continued learner support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging ITQ Level 2 teaching sessions in a classroom or blended learning environment.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to support learners in achieving assessment objectives.
• Mark and provide constructive feedback on learner assignments.
• Motivate and support learners to develop practical IT skills and achieve their full potential.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes.
• Work collaboratively within a further education team to enhance the learner experience.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification to teach Level 2 ITQ courses.
• Experience teaching in a further education environment or with adult learners.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions.
• Strong organisational skills to manage teaching and marking workloads efficiently.
• Ability to support diverse learners and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
