About the role
In your role as IT Configuration Analyst, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to report to our IT Service Desk & Support Manager as a fundamental part of the USS Technology Services group function. As an IT Configuration Analyst, you will be managing all configuration-related day-to-day activities such as asset, configuration, and lifecycle management. The role will also be responsible for building and configuring end-user compute hardware and ensuring the IT build areas are to standard. This role will maintain the accuracy and integrity of config data within ITSM & CMDB tools, ensuring that they are aligned with ITILv4 & USS policies and practices. You will act as a central point of contact for managing the supporting configuration-related queries and contribute to the effective resolution of incidents and the delivery of high-quality IT services. This role is based in London but will require occasional travel to the Liverpool office.
