Summary: The IT Audit & Site Survey Technician role involves supporting a large-scale communications infrastructure audit project for a major government organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site audits and surveys of IT and communications rooms within an assigned regional area.
- Identify and record IT hardware using asset tags and predefined scripts.
- Ensure all survey data is accurately captured and reported.
- Communicate effectively with on-site contacts to arrange access and explain the audit process.
- Follow structured procedures and maintain consistency in documentation.
- Occasionally assist with basic kit swaps or equipment checks where required.

The successful candidates will visit multiple sites within their assigned region to record and verify IT and communications assets across local communications rooms.
