The Role Reporting to the International Marketing and Conversion Manager, this position provides proactive, reliable, and high-quality administrative support to the International Recruitment team. The International Recruitment team is responsible for providing advice and guidance on all aspects of international admissions, marketing, conversion, and recruitment, including the development of policies related to international students. The postholder will assist in the effective delivery of these activities through efficient administrative and operational coordination. The postholder will have particular responsibility for finance and customer service functions, ensuring the smooth running of the team’s operations. The role will contribute to improved efficiency, an enhanced applicant experience, and the team’s overall success in attracting and engaging international students. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly, contributing across all areas of the wider marketing, student recruitment and events team, which will involve working events, supporting and collaborating with the wider team’s objectives. Due to the nature of this role, you may need to work evenings and weekends; a flexible and co-operative approach to work is essential to be successful in this role.

The Person You will have experience working in an administrative or support role, ideally within the service sector, where you have demonstrated cultural awareness and strong customer care skills. You will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively across a range of activities. You will be self-motivated, proactive, and methodical in your approach, with strong organisational and time management skills. You will be able to work efficiently across a variety of tasks and demonstrate flexibility in your work. We are seeking an individual who can balance administrative responsibilities, deliver excellent customer service, and provide effective support to the International Recruitment team.

Directorate/Function The Directorate for Students attracts and supports an inclusive student body, ensuring students become sought-after graduates through career enhancement and a focus on wellbeing. Recruitment and Admissions at Kingston University forms a large department within the Student Directorate encompassing recruitment and admissions across home and overseas students. It provides a strategic, operational and advisory service for the University on all aspects of recruitment and admissions. This includes course marketing, student recruitment, student admissions, website management and development, design & print, copywriting, editing as well as international development, visa and immigration advice, events and graduation services.
