Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate ICT services and outsourcing contracts, including cloud computing, managed services, and software/SaaS agreements.
  • Advise on legal, contractual, and regulatory risks relating to third-party and procurement activities across EMEA.
  • Support compliance with UK/EBA outsourcing guidelines, the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and related regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update standard contract templates, checklists, and playbooks for ICT and outsourcing agreements.
  • Provide general commercial legal support and guidance to procurement and technology stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with legal teams globally (including EMEA, Americas, and Tokyo offices) on cross-border matters.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent).
  • Solid experience drafting and negotiating ICT and technology contracts in a financial services, corporate, or law firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of outsourcing regulations, data protection (GDPR), and commercial law.
  • Ability to manage complex workloads across multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a pragmatic and commercial approach.

This role focuses on providing legal support for technology, operations, and procurement matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ICT-related contracts and advising on regulatory developments affecting third-party and outsourcing arrangements.
