Summary: The Integrated Programme Specialist will play a crucial role in the Delivery team, providing technical support to the Planning team for a multi-disciplinary project programme across various sites in Scotland. The position involves ensuring clear communication of package interfaces and maintaining an accurate integrated construction programme throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to meet client requirements and optimize project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Delivery team and provide technical support to the Planning team.
  • Ensure package interfaces are understood across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Support Project Planners in producing an integrated construction programme and optimizing the critical path.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the integrated construction programme throughout the project.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and reporting on time impacts of change events.
  • Collaborate with project teams, Planners, site management, and supply chain partners.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in major project delivery within a multi contract/disaggregated delivery model.
  • Sound knowledge of Primavera P6 on large scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of NEC3 contract planning requirements.
  • Experience in pre-construction and construction phases of HVDC Converter station delivery.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude.

Job Title – Integrated Programme Specialist

Location – Scotland, 4 sites all needing a contractor, travel required to other remote/rural sites

Contract Length / Perm – 12 months (part of a project, more likely 4-5 years)

Pay Rate – £700 - £750 per day umbrella

You Will Take a leading role within the Delivery team and provide technical support to the Planning team focused on the multi-disciplinary project programme, ensuring that package interfaces are clearly understood and captured across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Play a pivotal role in the final months of the pre-construction phase – ensuring a robust, NEC3 compliant, and realistic programme is provided by each supply chain partner

Support Project Planners in producing an integrated construction programme, optimising the critical path whilst ensuring the logic is realistic and constructable

Ensure the integrated construction programme is kept accurate for the duration of the project, maximising opportunities to reduce the critical path, and conducting detailed analysis and reporting alongside the Planning team e.g. the time impact of change events

Collaborate closely with project teams, Planners, site management, commercial, and supply chain partners; ensuring client requirements are met

You Have Proven experience in major project delivery within a multi contract / disaggregated delivery model as a delivery planner, construction manager, interface manager, or other relevant role

Sound knowledge and experience of using Primavera P6 on large scale construction or infrastructure projects, with familiarity with 4D Digital programming and associated software preferred.

A strong understanding of NEC3 contract planning requirements, including assessing delay impacts, change events, and contractor claims.

Extensive knowledge and experience in the pre-construction and construction phases of HVDC Converter station (or comparable complex building) delivery, including the ability to identify and manage interfaces across design, civil, building, and OEM packages.

Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, with a proactive, can-do attitude
