Summary: The Installation Quality Manager at Heathrow Airport is tasked with ensuring high-quality standards throughout the installation process for various projects. This role involves overseeing installation activities, implementing quality control processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The manager will also focus on continuous improvement and risk management to enhance installation efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all installation processes, ensuring quality standards are adhered to across all stages of the installation lifecycle.
- Establish and implement quality control processes, methodologies, and best practices for installation projects.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of installations for compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper execution of tasks and development of installation staff.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers regarding installation quality, addressing concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance installation efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Provide regular updates and reports on installation quality status and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Ensure all installations comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and contractual agreements.
- Identify potential risks to installation quality and take corrective action to mitigate issues.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in installation management, quality control, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and procedures.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience with risk management and safety compliance is a plus.
- A degree in Engineering, IT, or related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Quality Management or Installation Management are desirable.
