Summary: The Information Modeller role involves supporting the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise information models across various business and technical domains. This position requires expertise in data structures and compliance, with a focus on producing robust models and engaging stakeholders effectively. The role is primarily onsite in Warwick and is offered as a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will utilize tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect and methodologies such as UML and BPMN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce information models using UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, and UML interaction notation
- Develop models in Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Collaborate with SMEs to validate and agree models
- Contribute to solution architecture across business, functional, and infrastructure areas
- Support data governance, compliance, and policy implementation
- Manage metadata and knowledge assets across their lifecycle
- Support data quality measurement and modelling standards
- Design relational database schemas and API interaction diagrams
- Create HTTP message payloads (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE)
- Engage stakeholders and support communication activities
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, and Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Solid knowledge of data governance, compliance, and metadata management
- Experience designing relational databases and integration interfaces
- Understanding of HTTP methods and API design
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- 5+ years’ experience in information or data modelling (desirable)
- Experience in large, complex enterprise environments (desirable)
- Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven sectors (desirable)
