Summary: The IBM DataPower Developer role involves diagnosing and resolving environment-related issues to ensure high availability and performance of project infrastructure across DataPower and AWS environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support and timely resolution of environment issues related to the Hermes project, focusing on IBM DataPower appliances and related infrastructure.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower Gateway services in alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with mainframe teams to understand integration points and troubleshoot interdependencies.
- Monitor and manage AWS cloud resources including CloudWatch for logging and alerting, DynamoDB for database management, and AWS Lambda for serverless compute workflows.
- Implement best practices for environment stability, performance tuning, and security compliance.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Shell scripting, and GitLab pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
- Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, status reports, and issue logs for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams — including developers, infrastructure engineers, and project managers — to ensure timely issue resolution and alignment on priorities.
Key Skills:
