Summary: The Senior ICM Hydraulic Network Modeller will be responsible for conducting hydraulic network modelling for UK Water projects, leveraging a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The role involves assessing system performance, identifying solutions for urban drainage issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires collaboration with project managers and design engineers while also supervising junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise Infoworks ICM models to assess system performance and identify effective solutions.
- Conduct capacity assessments using Infoworks ICM models.
- Identify and develop solutions for urban drainage issues using Infoworks ICM.
- Undertake hydraulic checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with client design teams to develop capital schemes.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Supervise, support, and develop junior modelling staff.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Practical knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.
- Experience working for a UK Water Company.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience in modelling and designing engineering schemes.
- Experience using GIS (ARCGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS).
- Competent in MS Word and Excel.
