Summary: The HSE Coordinator will serve as the Saipem HSE site representative, ensuring subcontractor compliance with contractual and legal HSE requirements. The role involves conducting site inspections, participating in incident investigations, and facilitating HSE communication and training. Proficiency in English and French, along with strong interpersonal skills, is essential for effective collaboration with subcontractor leadership. The position is based in Paris, France, with a duration of 7 months starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Saipem HSE site representative, monitoring subcontractor activities for compliance.
- Participate and lead site HSE inspections and audits, monitoring remedial actions.
- Participate in site incident investigations and review HSE reporting.
- Support the dissemination of HSE campaigns and lessons learned to subcontractors.
- Utilize written and email communication effectively, including MS Office proficiency.
- Build relationships with subcontractor site leadership and supervisors.
- Communicate clearly and concisely to facilitate decision-making.
Key Skills:
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written).
- Good knowledge of IOGP 577.
- Familiarity with national and international regulations for yard fabrication, lifting operations, and port activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
