An Entrepreneur in Residence to join our team Entrepreneur in Residence Catalyst is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced entrepreneur to review, redesign and reboot Catalyst's flagship mentoring programme, Springboard. About Springboard Springboard offers coaching and mentoring to innovative entrepreneurs and their teams. This programme is the manifestation of Catalyst principles as it efficiently leverages a broad network of existing regional (and global) talent, and meaningfully engages them in identifying, qualifying, preparing, and then presenting carefully prepared entrepreneurs to the community. The unique nature of this programme allows Catalyst to harness the collective intelligence of domain, market, industry, business service providers, investment, intellectual property, and human capital experts in the most efficient manner. Through this 'crowd sourcing' model, participants are given the opportunity to reveal their 'flaws' in a constructive setting, and gain insights in how to successfully adapt going forward. Just as important, it allows those companies with little chance of success to get this critical feedback early in their development. By doing so, it allows the finite resources of a community to be focused on entrepreneurs with the most promise for social and economic impact. What is important about this programme is that the relationships formed amongst the mentors, coaches, and panelists provide as much value as the knowledge transfer between these experts and the entrepreneur. A tertiary effect is also that the community's technology literacy is greatly enhanced by this open exchange of ideas and solutions.
