Summary: The HR Consultant role in Plymouth is a hybrid position requiring an experienced HR professional for an initial 4-month contract. The consultant will provide HR advisory services, support restructure/TUPE processes, and advise on Employee Relations matters. The ideal candidate should have chartered status of CIPD or a Level 5 qualification and experience in local government or the public sector is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR advisory services covering a broad range of activities.
- Advise managers on general HR queries.
- Support restructure/TUPE processes.
- Act as the HR Advisor on Employee Relations matters.
- Advise the Chair at hearings and appeals.
- Involve in policy development and implementation.
Key Skills:
- Chartered status of CIPD or Level 5 qualification working towards full CIPD membership.
- Experience in HR advisory roles.
- Knowledge of Employee Relations processes.
- Experience in local government or public sector (preferred).

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional for an initial period of 4 months. This role provides an HR advisory service covering a broad range of activities from advising managers on general HR queries, supporting restructure/TUPE processes. The postholder will also be required to act as the HR Advisor on Employee Relations matters, particularly advising the Chair at hearings and appeals. The postholder may also get involved in policy development and implementation.
We are looking for someone with chartered status of CIPD, or with a Level 5 qualification and working towards their full CIPD membership. Experience of working in local government or the public sector is an advantage.
