Summary: The HR Advisor role is a part-time position based in Reading, requiring an experienced professional to support a small HR team managing approximately 60 employees. The advisor will work closely with the HR Manager on various HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, recruitment, and handling HR queries. This role demands strong communication skills and a solid background in HR advisory and generalist functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure the database is updated regularly.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Work closely with the Head of HR to deliver HR initiatives and projects.
  • Provide training and workshop coaching to managers and employees.

Key Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an Advisory and Generalist HR position.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification.
  • Confident communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Experience with employee relations cases.
  • Good knowledge of HR systems.

Salary (Rate): £20.52
