Housing Support Worker

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting service users to comply with HDC/Bail conditions.
• Producing realistic and achievable support plans for housing and accommodation services.
• Ensuring all support plans and risk assessments are person-centred and inclusive.
• Offering one-to-one support to offenders released on bail or home detention curfew.
• Inducting service users into properties and assisting with benefit claims.
• Finding move-on accommodation and signposting for additional support.
• Maintaining property standards and reporting repairs.

Key Skills:

• Experience in the Criminal Justice system.
• Ability to create person-centred support plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of housing and accommodation services.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Full DBS Certificate (dated in previous 12 months) or on the update service.
