Role summary

An experienced Homelessness Officer is required to support a Housing Services team within a local authority setting. This role will focus on delivering high-quality homelessness casework across prevention and relief duties, with a particular emphasis on working with families.

You will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, ensuring statutory duties are met in line with homelessness legislation and policies, while delivering a customer-focused service led by empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of office-based and home working in line with service needs.
