Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle plant hire requests via email, phone, and central portal.
  • Recommend suitable assets for site needs and liaise with specialist suppliers.
  • Arrange site visits and ensure timely ordering and delivery of plant equipment.
  • Uphold health & safety standards and Volker HSEQ policies.
  • Update Microsoft 4PS with accurate data to reduce invoice queries and improve reporting.
  • Manage damage/loss, negotiate quotes, and group orders to cut transport costs.
  • Respond to urgent requests and support site mobilisations and de-mobilisations.
  • Resolve issues with speed and empathy.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Hire Controller or solid plant/construction knowledge.

We're looking for a dynamic Hire Controller to help manage our central plant hire desk — ensuring seamless coordination of hired equipment across multiple business units.
