Key Responsibilities:
- Handle plant hire requests via email, phone, and central portal.
- Recommend suitable assets for site needs and liaise with specialist suppliers.
- Arrange site visits and ensure timely ordering and delivery of plant equipment.
- Uphold health & safety standards and Volker HSEQ policies.
- Update Microsoft 4PS with accurate data to reduce invoice queries and improve reporting.
- Manage damage/loss, negotiate quotes, and group orders to cut transport costs.
- Respond to urgent requests and support site mobilisations and de-mobilisations.
- Resolve issues with speed and empathy.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as a Hire Controller or solid plant/construction knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Dynamics 4PS is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in customer-facing roles.
