Summary: The Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor role is a full-time contract position for approximately 4 months, requiring a few days of office presence each week. The advisor will support the HSE Manager by assisting with policies, training plans, and updating processes in a highly regulated aviation environment. Candidates must be available immediately and reside in the Inverness area, with their own transport for office travel. Relevant qualifications and experience in health and safety management are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and training plans.
  • Review and update existing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct health and safety audits and investigations of accidents and incidents.
  • Provide support to the HSE Manager in managing safety practices and standards.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to health and safety management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding safety issues.

Key Skills:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • 3 years of post-qualifying experience in a safety managerial position.
  • Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at Grad IOSH Level.
  • Experience in health and safety auditing.
  • Strong IT and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Salary (Rate): £46,000
