Our Directory of Freelancers is a free resource for the UK’s charity and non-profit sector to find flexible staffing for their projects. Freelancers can choose to be part of 1 of 4 sections of the directory: policy, campaigns & public affairs Marketing & Digital Communications, media & PR Director Level
How Its Works
As a freelancer, you will appear on the Directory and then you will receive Request Alerts. This is when there is an enquiry for your contact details from a possible client. The Request Alerts will include contact details of the client for you to choose whether to approach. And sometimes they provide details of the project. When they do, we will pass this onto you.
The clients
They are mainly from the charity and non-profit sector. But occasionally we receive enquiries from companies, for example agencies that work with the sector. Once they request your details from us, we supply them with the contact details you provide to us and as well, we suggest your LinkedIn profile or if you have one, your website.
The fees
To join there is a one-off registration fee – currently it is free for the remainder of 2024. From 1st January 2025, it will be £25. This covers the cost of processing your details onto our database. Then, there are two ways of paying:
- Unlimited Client Request Alerts £88 annual, £55 for 6 months, £35 for 3 months, £17 for 1 month
- Pay per client Request Alert - £35 each
