TXM Recruit are supporting a national building and maintenance contractor in the search for a Fire Door Surveyor.
The work will consist of inspecting Fire Doors across commercial buildings UK wide.
Duties:
- Ensure remedial pricing given are within industry rates (essentially cost audit)
- Ensure highlighted remedial are accurate for retained fire doors
- Doors declassified align with instruction (they will be removing signage, asset tag, and putting chrome plate on)
- Ensure the Fire Doors retain as fire doors align with instruction.
- Produce accurate drawings.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day.
Pay: £240 per day (CIS). Due to the extensive amount of travel, we will look to pay a mileage allowance for any miles exceeding 50 miles per day.
Requirements
- Industry relevant experience as a fire door surveyor/assessor
- FDIS or equivalent (desirable).
