Summary: The Financial Supervisor role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, daily P&L reporting, and regulatory submissions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and support through the external audit process
  • Delivery of daily P&L reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Supporting regulatory submissions to UK regulators
  • Assisting with VAT and Corporation Tax reporting
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations and control checks
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies across the general ledger
  • Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
  • Supporting finance projects and driving process enhancements

Key Skills:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Experience within a banking
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and controls
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting is highly desirable
  • Hedge accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
