Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of EMEA annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial models.

Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

INTERIM FP&A MANAGER - *Interested candidates must be comfortable being 4 days a week office-based from the firm’s GreenPark office* The role is inside IR35 and might be a FTC/day rate TBC Equifind is supporting a leading Global ‘blue chip’ Asset manager with the recruitment of a FP&A Manager position to join their London team on an interim basis. The firm is established, complex and with scale of AUM and multiple funds and this role will be suited for a motivated and commercial senior FP&A to look after UK and EMEA regions to deliver financial planning, analysis, management reporting and decision making. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, management information, expense analysis, financial controls and senior stakeholder reporting across multiple business lines, profit centres, cost centres and legal entities. The role requires strong analytical capability, excellent financial modelling skills, disciplined control orientation and the ability to transform complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
Financial Planning & Analysis Support the preparation of EMEA annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range financial models across business lines, profit centres, cost centres and legal entities. Prepare and review detailed variance analysis across revenues, expenses, deployment and monetizations, allocations and other key financial metrics, providing clear commentary on drivers, trends, risks and opportunities. Assist with the production of quarterly consolidated EMEA management reporting packs, including P&L analysis, business line reporting, AuM, montisations and Deployments and other key metrics and additional management analytics. Support the firmwide forecasting process by preparing accurate financial inputs, analysis and commentary for submission to global FP&A and senior Finance leadership. Partnering with the deal teams, London Finance and central FPA teams to provide timely and accurate analytics to support business decision-making by regional senior management.
Management Reporting & Business Partnering Prepare monthly and quarterly Board Packs on legal entity financial management information packs for senior stakeholders, including expense analysis. Prepare quarterly reporting for strategy heads, presenting key performance metrics and revenue variances by deal and fund, with clear commentary on drivers of performance against budget and prior periods. Prepare executive-readyAudit, Risk and Compliance Committee papers, translating detailed financial data into clear insights, key messages and recommended areas of focus. Produce and review live and dead deal reporting, tracking pipeline activity, deal status changes, and associated costs to provide stakeholders with timely visibility Support the EMEA CFO with ad hoc analysis, regional finance priorities, cost management initiatives and strategic projects requiring strong financial judgement and cross-functional coordination. Produce, review, and analyse monthly T&E reporting across the business, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and clear commentary on variances and trends to support decision-making. Preparation and review of OPEX reporting, including coordination with offshore support teams and local finance stakeholders. Track, monitor and report to Business heads on expenses, cost allocations and business performance metrics to support cost management and financial discipline across the region. stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with business requirements. Develop dashboards, analytical models and reporting templates to improve visibility of expenses, KPIs, trends and business performance.
Project Management, Systems, Data & Process Improvement Support the design, enhancement and automation of Finance reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, OneStream or similar reporting platforms. Identify opportunities to streamline manual reporting, improve data quality, reduce process inefficiencies and strengthen controls. Assist the EMEA CFO and senior Finance leadership with the project management of regional and global Finance initiatives, including reporting enhancements, systems implementation, process redesign and operating model improvements.
Additional Responsibilities: Funding and InterCompany clear downs IFRS 2 share based payments calculations, inclusive of discounts, and entity level recognition Provide analytical support on ad hoc finance projects, including cost management, allocation reviews, chargeback analysis, KPI reporting and senior management requests. Support and review work prepared by junior team members or offshore support teams, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency of output. Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance Finance culture focused on accuracy, accountability, efficiency and continuous improvement. Maintain clear process documentation and support knowledge transfer across the global Finance team.
Key requirements Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). A minimum of 5-10 years+ experience, working within FP&A/Commercial finance. A degree that clearly shows strong numerical and analytical ability. Prior experience of working with FCA regulated businesses. Advanced-level Excel skills. Package details .c. £130,000 base salary. This role might be a FTC but should it be a day rate (TBC) it will be inside IR35 The role comes with breakfast and lunch and is 4 days in the office.
