Summary: The role of Interim Financial Controller involves overseeing financial operations for a prestigious SME in Manchester on a 3-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of month-end and year-end accounts
- Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations as required, journals and ledger maintenance
- Monthly reconciliation of the prepayments & accruals
- In-depth checking of monthly accounts to ensure accuracy
- Producing monthly management accounts, including commentary & strategic review for Board level
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- A good understanding of VAT and tax matters
- Hands-on approach
- Ability to prepare and report on financial reports & management accounts to a high level of detail
- Sound knowledge of accounting software applications, e.g. Xero, Sage, Quikbooks

Chilworth Partnership are delighted to be supporting a prestigious SME, based in Manchester, in their search for an Interim Financial Controller on a 3 month contract to cover some additional leave in the team. For the right individual, there might be the potential to go temp to perm.
Key Responsibilities include:
