Summary: The Financial Controller role is a fixed-term contract position based in London, requiring an experienced finance professional to lead the finance function and influence strategic decisions within a growing organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
- Deliver insightful management information and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage complex cash flow, working capital and financial risk to ensure a strong and sustainable financial position.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audit processes and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and enhance financial controls, systems and reporting frameworks.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and profitability.
- Support key business initiatives through financial modelling, analysis and recommendations.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks and external advisors.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting.
Key Skills:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance or within a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insight.
- Demonstrable experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
- Passionate about driving business performance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Experience within a multi-site, consumer-facing or service-led environment would be advantageous.

The Role
