Summary: The Finance Analyst role is a 6-month contract position based in Oakham, focusing on business partnering and financial management. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver operational finance support including month-end processes, journal postings, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to drive performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems and reports.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build effective business partnerships across departments.
- Experience in a product-based environment is desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Available to start at short notice.
