Finance Analyst 6m FTC

Eden Scott is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known Scottish organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and contribute to key transformation initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements within the newly adopted cloud-based accounting system to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Analyse and resolve issues arising from the implementation of a new billing system to ensure smooth financial operations
• Reconcile financial reports to detect anomalies, investigate discrepancies, and prepare journal entries to correct financial data in the system
• Assist with billing processes, including invoice preparation, validation, and coordination with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely billing

Requirements

• Good experience across billings and testings
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent IT literacy with experience of working with cloud-based accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Ability to work well both to own initiative and as part of a team
