Summary: The Data Engineer/BI Specialist role focuses on leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric to create impactful data solutions that drive business strategy and decision-making. The position involves designing and managing a modern data platform, optimizing data pipelines, and creating insightful Power BI dashboards. The successful candidate will also promote data governance and a data-driven culture within the organization. This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring three days on-site each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and managing a cutting-edge Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Warehouses & Lakehouses)
  • Building and optimising data pipelines (ADF/Fabric) to deliver clean, reliable data
  • Creating high-impact Power BI dashboards & semantic models used by key stakeholders
  • Driving data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, PCI, ITAR)
  • Championing a data-driven culture, empowering teams through training and self-service analytics

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI
  • Expertise in data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and DAX
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, cloud architecture, and analytics
  • Experience with ERP/SAP data (desirable)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
