Key Responsibilities:
- Support the identification of speech, language, and communication needs at an early stage.
- Develop tailored strategies to address individual children's speech, language, and communication needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions and assess their outcomes to ensure effectiveness.
- Work alongside class teachers to align interventions with classroom teaching.
- Collaborate with families, offering advice and strategies to support children's progress at home.
- Train and guide teaching assistants to deliver effective speech, language, and communication interventions.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with professional standards.
- Build partnerships with other professionals to enhance multidisciplinary approaches.
- Work with school SENCos to prioritise and manage your caseload effectively.

- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is preferred.
- Ability to provide personal care assistance, including toileting and feeding.

- Hold an enhanced child-only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
