Key Responsibilities:

• Support the identification of speech, language, and communication needs at an early stage.
• Develop tailored strategies to address individual children's speech, language, and communication needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and assess their outcomes to ensure effectiveness.
• Work alongside class teachers to align interventions with classroom teaching.
• Collaborate with families, offering advice and strategies to support children's progress at home.
• Train and guide teaching assistants to deliver effective speech, language, and communication interventions.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with professional standards.
• Build partnerships with other professionals to enhance multidisciplinary approaches.
• Work with school SENCos to prioritise and manage your caseload effectively.
