Summary: The role of End User Device Engineer involves providing desk-side support and managing physical desktop PC installations with Windows 10 for a large organization in Oxfordshire. The position requires a Full UK Driving License and entails troubleshooting EUD incidents while ensuring compliance with service level agreements. The contract is full-time and site-based, with an expected conclusion on 30th September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve EUD incidents, requests, and problems within the agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Identify patterns and trends within EUD services and take proactive measures to raise problems.
  • Ensure the EUD Senior Engineer is aware of any changes required to documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Support the schedule of moves, projects, events, and tech provisions, providing a proactive service.
  • Identify service improvements within EUD service delivery and highlight them to EUD Senior Engineers.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with a previous large-scale Windows migration.
  • Ability to cope under pressure.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent experience with supporting Windows 10.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, comfortable working with all different levels of staff.
  • Good communication skills.
