Key Responsibilities:

- Maximize property regeneration opportunities through development enabling work.
- Undertake budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for the property portfolio valued at circa £2.77bn.
Key Skills:
- Experience in leadership and establishing relationships with key business heads and senior stakeholders.
- Understanding and track record in handling asset management initiatives, including lettings and rent reviews.
- Knowledge of legal negotiations and contracts/agreements.
- Ability to produce quality reports and analysis under tight time constraints.

I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3- 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Estates Management Surveyor this role will be: N22 7TY Hybrid
The right candidate will:
- Effectively managing the Haringey property portfolio to maximise value, reduce costs, enhance long term value and increase returns, with a focus on both financial performance and social and economic benefits.
- Take ownership for identifying and executing value add opportunities and asset management initiatives across the assets.
- Delivering commercial arrangements (including leases and acquisitions) which meet the council’s needs.
- Maximising property regeneration opportunities from Haringey assets through development enabling work and ensuring asset disposals meet Councils objectives and represent best value.
- Undertake budgeting, forecasting and financial management in respect of the property portfolio which is valued at circa £2.77bn.
We require the following:
Your experience will include working as a leader and establishing good relationships with key business heads and senior stakeholders.
You will have a firm understanding and demonstrable track-record in handling asset management initiatives: lettings, rent reviews, re-gears, refurbishments as well as hold / sell analysis in addition to a thorough understanding of commercial leases.
A range of experience and a good knowledge of legal negotiations and contracts/agreements. You will be able to produce quality reports and analysis in tight time constraints.
