Position: Qualified Social Worker - Mental Health Team
Location: Silver Street, Enfield, S75 3NP
Rate: 32 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Mental Health Team in Enfield. This role involves supporting individuals with mental health needs, providing comprehensive assessments and care planning, and delivering interventions in line with statutory duties and service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed assessments of individuals with mental health issues to determine their needs and support requirements.
Develop, implement, and review care plans to improve outcomes for individuals with mental health conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care and support.
Monitor the progress of clients in the community and adjust care plans as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, and local policies.
Advocate for clients and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
Ensure that individuals are supported to access appropriate services, including housing, healthcare, and social services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with social work standards and data protection requirements.
Participate in supervision, training, and continuous professional development activities.
Requirements:

A valid Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Previous experience working within mental health services, including the completion of assessments and care planning.
Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation, including the Mental Health Act.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Experience in risk assessment and managing complex cases.
