Endpoint Defender Implementation Specialist

Summary: The Delivery Manager for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Implementation is responsible for leading the hands-on deployment of endpoint security solutions across various platforms, including Azure and AWS. The role requires active SC clearance and recent experience with HMG. The position involves engineering secure solutions and managing the full delivery lifecycle to ensure optimal security outcomes. Occasional travel to Manchester or London is expected approximately every six weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead hands-on implementation of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint across hybrid estates (Azure, AWS, on-prem), with a strong focus on Linux systems.
• Engineer secure-by-design endpoint solutions, including policy tuning, automation scripting, and compliance validation.
• Drive full delivery lifecycle: onboarding, hardening, threat surface reduction, and post-deployment optimization.
• Operate as the technical delivery lead, aligning engineering and CSOC teams to deliver secure, high-performance outcomes in HMG environments.

Key Skills:

• Deep expertise in endpoint security, specifically with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems.
• Proficiency in policy tuning, automation scripting, and compliance validation.
• Ability to manage the full delivery lifecycle of security implementations.
• Active SC clearance valid through 2028 or later.
