Summary: The Electromechanical Team Leader will oversee installation projects across the UK, combining technical expertise with team leadership in a hands-on role. This position requires travel and involves managing installation teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project timelines. The role also includes overseeing electrical and mechanical installations, testing, and client communication. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead installation teams on-site, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress
  • Manage subcontractors, materials, and resources in line with project plans
  • Monitor project progress, reporting updates and supporting delivery within budget
  • Oversee electrical and mechanical installation works in line with drawings and specifications
  • Carry out testing and support commissioning activities
  • Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with technical and customer requirements
  • Resolve on-site issues and support the team with technical guidance
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations on-site
  • Deliver toolbox talks and manage safety documentation (RAMS, permits, etc.)
  • Work closely with client safety teams and respond to inspections

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading electrical installation or automation projects (conveyors, ASRS)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • SSSTS or SMSTS and ECS/CSCS certification (essential)
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Fluent English (additional languages beneficial)
  • Willingness to travel and work on projects across the UK

Electromechanical Team Leader

Location: UK-wide (project-based, travel required)

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Team Leader to oversee installation projects across the UK. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with team leadership, working on automation systems such as conveyors and ASRS.
This position is mobile, with projects across England and a rotation-based working pattern. Accommodation is provided where applicable.

Package

£26–£28 per hour (depending on experience)
Up to 220 hours per month
Accommodation provided where applicable
Ongoing projects with long-term opportunities
