Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical testing (EICRs) in social housing properties in line with the provided schedule
- Completing around 4 properties per day on average
- Identifying faults, risks, and non-compliant installations, ensuring they are clearly recorded
- Undertaking remedial works, repairs, rewires, and adaptations where required
- Submitting reports and results within agreed timeframes
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with tenants, maintaining a professional and respectful approach at all times
- Working closely with the wider site team, supervisors, and coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of the programme
- Managing your daily workload and route efficiently to maximise productivity
- Reporting any issues, access problems, or risks promptly to the relevant teams

- 18th Edition qualification
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing
- Proven experience in electrical testing within domestic or social housing properties
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Own tools
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

About the Role
Are you an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer looking for consistent work and strong earning potential? We’re looking for skilled, self-employed engineers to join our Electrical Compliance project within the social housing sector across East London.
