Summary: The role of Systems Administrator involves supporting a newly deployed system in a critical operational environment, requiring on-site presence 4-5 days a week in Lincolnshire. The contract is initially for 6 months with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse system logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Apply operating system updates, security patches, and configuration changes.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and password resets.
- Provide technical support to users and respond to technical queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported system and network problems.
- Optimise and tune system performance.
- Ensure continuous availability and reliability of network infrastructure.
