Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small, Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Corporate Solutions team within Global Commercial Products is responsible for developing and managing a suite of corporate payment and spend enablement solutions uniqAuely differentiated through innovative benefits, features and partnerships underpinned by seamless digital experiences. How will you make an impact in this role? The Director of Travel Strategy & Partnerships plays a critical role in ensuring we have the right partners (Travel Management Companies (TMCs), virtual card enablers) to facilitate central bill payments and drive growth. With the rapid evolution of/rise of central bill usage for T&E, this role requires someone with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to develop and drive an end-to-end commercial enablement plan through our central bill partners – who we rely on for lead generation and product enablement.

  • Manage global relationships with key Partners, including development of partner growth strategies including commercial enablement and lead sharing program, contract management/negotiation, and third-party lifecycle management.
  • Partner with product management teams to develop a cohesive and forward-looking partnerships strategy and roadmap for innovation to support product growth.
  • Liaise with internal solutioning and implementation teams to ensure best-in-class technical integration with partners.
  • Establish robust partner management norms, including standardized reporting, invoice / payment management, partner P&L / economics.
  • Partner closely with various functional teams including: GCO, Compliance, Servicing, Implementations, Field, Product Management, Product Development and Marketing.
  • Manage a team of 6 product managers based globally.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Significant relevant experience in Partner Management or Product Management/Strategy.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic vision and realize e2e delivery of that vision.
  • Strategic and commercially minded thinker who can bring disparate workstreams together into a cohesive partner/product experience.
  • Experience in Partnership Negotiation, Management, Technical Integrations.
  • Strong relationship building skills with proven ability to influence agendas and drive partner engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and executive presence including partner/client facing experience and presentation skills.
  • Strong people leader with experiencing supporting high performing, globally distributed team.
  • Ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven interest / knowledge of the Corporate Travel industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with global partnerships and comfort navigating market by market nuances while elevating a globally consistent value proposition.
