Summary: The role of Data Scientist involves working on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days in London and the remainder remote. This position is inside IR35, requiring work through an umbrella company, and is expected to transition into a permanent role after six months. Candidates should have extensive experience in data science, particularly in driving insights and supporting projects in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new data insights to uncover business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Utilize statistics and data visualization for effective communication.
- Support data science projects in a consulting environment.
- Participate in projects focusing on Predictive Analytics, Data Design, Statistics, AI/ML, or ML Ops.
- Analyze disparate data sets using Python and/or R.
- Develop hands-on experience with Gen AI / LLM.
Key Skills:
- Several years of experience in data science and ML engineering.
- Strong understanding of statistics and data visualization.
- Experience in consulting environments.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R.
- Experience with Predictive Analytics, Data Design, AI/ML, or ML Ops.
- Hands-on development experience with Gen AI / LLM preferred.

You will have experience of driving new data insights to uncover business opportunities & revenue streams, have a firm understanding of statistics and data visualisation for communication and also have an understanding of business growth areas & how to utilise important data. Experience of supporting data science projects in a consulting environment is essential for this role. You must have a number of years of experience participating in projects that focused on some of the following - Predictive Analytics, Data Design, Statistics, AI/ML or ML Ops.
