Summary: The Data Network Engineer role focuses on providing extensive support for L2/L3 IP protocols, particularly in a multi-vendor environment with a specialization in Viptela SD-WAN. The position requires expertise in troubleshooting network issues and a strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure and connectivity. The engineer will interact with customers to understand their network and service delivery requirements while being flexible to support 24/7 operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in L2/L3 IP protocols such as HSRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VRF.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of IP protocols and hardware platforms.
  • Understanding of Data Center infrastructure and Branch/Headquarter connectivity.
  • Expertise in routing and switching.
  • Troubleshooting network-related issues using tools like Wireshark.
  • Interaction with customers to understand their network and service delivery requirements.
  • Flexibility to support 24/7 operations.
  • Knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Lifecycle Management.
  • Providing break-fix support for ongoing issues with P1 and critical incidents.

Expertise in L2/L3 IP protocols i.e. HSRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and VRF. Should have expertise in understanding of the multi-vendor/technology environment specialized in Viptela SD-WAN. Should have knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of IP protocols and hardware platform. Good understanding of Data Center infrastructure and Branch/Headquarter connectivity. Expertise knowledge of Routing and switching. Troubleshooting expert of network related issues, Sound understanding of troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and can-do packet analysis in deployment SD-WAN & SD-Access. Interaction with Customer and Understanding customer network and Services Delivery requirement is must. Should be flexible to support 24/7. Should have knowledge of Vulnerability Management, Lifecycle Management. Providing break fix for ongoing issues with P1 and critical Incidents.

Qualifications

CCNP- ENCOR Certified or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure. Good to have Cisco ENSDENG certification.

Required Skills

Preferred Skills
