Summary: The role of Data Integration Engineer (Salesforce) involves supporting high-impact commercial data projects through the development and maintenance of API integrations, enhancing data quality, and creating cleaner CRM environments. The position requires hands-on experience with Salesforce and API integration, focusing on improving data processes and supporting third-party integrations. The contract duration is 3-4 months with an immediate start, and the role is outside IR35. The position requires one day per week in the office, located in the Manchester area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining REST API integrations (Creditsafe, Companies House or similar)
- Improving matching and deduplication logic across ingestion pipelines
- Implementing Salesforce validation rules and formatting standards including E.164
- Designing logic to identify enterprise and multi site clients
- Supporting third party SaaS integrations and API configuration
- Creating cleaner and more reliable CRM data for commercial teams
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Salesforce data quality, enrichment and dedupe
- Hands on API integration skills including REST, OAuth and JSON
- Solid SQL and Python for data transformation and matching logic
- Experience with fuzzy matching and deduplication frameworks
- Familiarity with sales data environments and CRM workflows
- MS Fabric or Azure data tooling experience is a plus
