Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling inbound and outbound income-related queries, working closely with Customer Services.

  • Credit control and negotiation skills and experience.

Based within the Didsbury area of South Manchester, working for a non- for - profit organisation.
Your new role
A temporary role for an experienced credit control support specialist.
This is not your typical credit control role and holds a varied remit.
Within this role you will liaise with housing tennants - former and current and work closely with customer service to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Your duties will include:-
Contacting current and future tenants, ensuring timely payments and maximising income collection.Managing rent and service charge accounts across all tenures, including escalation to court level.
Support tenancy sign-ups by advising on upfront payments and ongoing financial responsibilities.
Handle inbound and outbound income-related queries, working closely with Customer Services to deliver a seamless customer experience.
What you'll need to succeed
Credit control and negotiation skills and experience.
Experience of working within the housing and rental lease sector
Experienced of working within specialist income areas eg, Supported, Former Tenant Arrears, Leasehold, Commercial and Sundry Debt (preferred but not essential)
Excellent customer service able to liaise with people at all levels and backgrounds in a friendly, empathetic, professional and tenacious way.
MS office skills
The role is based in Manchester yet will require occasional travel to nearby offices within the region. Therefore, applicants will need to have their own car.
