Credit Expert – 2nd Line – Commercial Banking

A leading commercial bank are enhancing their product offering and are seeking a first/second line credit specialist to play a key role in defining a credit risk strategy, policy, framework, and risk appetite. You will work within the small-medium sized business segment of the market, being responsible for shaping a credit strategy, value proposition and portfolio management framework, as well as reviewing current processes and policies, establishing governance and oversight, and provide expert guidance.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

  • 7+ years risk experience within commercial/transaction banking
  • Significant experience in defining credit strategy, risk appetite, and frameworks
  • Demonstrable experience drafting credit risk policies and procedures
  • Small-to-medium enterprise (sub £300m turnover) sector experience
  • Solid product knowledge of commercial lending, payments and deposits
  • Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution

This is a £600-650/day PAYE role, based London, initially for six months.
