Summary: The role of Commercial Manager involves leading commercial delivery under NEC4 contracts within the nuclear/defence sector in Glasgow. This hybrid position requires extensive experience with NEC4 contracts and strong commercial leadership skills, particularly in regulated environments. The successful candidate will engage with senior stakeholders and manage complex professional services scopes for approximately 12 months. Regular on-site presence is essential, with a minimum of three days per week required in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial delivery under NEC4 contracts.
- Manage compensation events, early warnings, and Defined Cost mechanisms.

- Work on-site in Glasgow a minimum of three days per week.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience operating under NEC4 contracts, preferably with the Professional Services Contract (PSC).
- Proven track record in managing live project environments.
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Strong commercial leadership experience in infrastructure, engineering, nuclear, or defence sectors.
- Ability to flex on-site presence as required.

You will operate within a highly regulated environment, leading commercial delivery under NEC4 contracts across complex professional services scopes. This is a hybrid role, for approximately 12 months , requiring regular on-site presence and active engagement with senior stakeholders.
What you will need
- Extensive, hands-on experience operating under NEC4 contracts, with a strong preference for the Professional Services Contract (PSC)
- Proven track record managing compensation events, early warnings, and Defined Cost mechanisms in live project environments
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance ( British Born )
- Strong commercial leadership experience within infrastructure, engineering, nuclear, or defence sectors
- Ability to work on-site in Glasgow a minimum of 3 days per week (flexing to 5 when required)
