Summary: The role of CNC Machinist involves setting and operating Fanuc controlled CNC Lathes to produce small to medium batch parts, specifically for the aerospace sector. The position requires precision work, adhering to tight tolerances, and performing self-inspection. This is a contract position for three months, with twilight hours from 4 PM to midnight. The ideal candidate should have experience in machining various metals and be proficient in tool changes and operating CNC lathes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC Lathes
- Working to tolerances of +/- 0.001

Key Skills:
- Experienced CNC Turner
- Familiarity with machining parts for the aerospace sector
- Experience machining various metals including Stainless, Inconel, and Aluminium
- Ability to set and operate a CNC Lathe (no programming involved)
- Experienced with tool changes and speeds and feeds
