Summary: This role is for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a high-profile client in the Bristol/Bath region, focusing on managing both on-premise and Azure cloud infrastructure. The position involves ensuring stable and scalable environments as part of a large-scale technology transformation initiative. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure services and Infrastructure as Code tools. It is an 18-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, configure, and maintain Azure environments.
- Manage Azure, networking, security, storage, and monitoring components in line with Microsoft best practices.
- Establish and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration.
Key Skills:
- Similar experience as an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
- Hands-on experience managing Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
