Summary: An experienced Citrix Engineer is sought for a contract role in London, focusing on operational support and platform optimization within an established infrastructure team. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert across Citrix and NetScaler platforms within the organisation
- Support the resolution of incidents and outages, ensuring all issues are logged, managed, and resolved in line with agreed SLAs
- Lead and manage major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders
- Maintain and monitor infrastructure environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security
- Ensure all systems under the Citrix remit are managed, maintained, and optimised effectively
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Ensure service desk tickets are addressed and resolved in accordance with defined service levels
- Deliver and support infrastructure-related projects within the Citrix domain
- Implement platform improvements, adhering to established change control processes
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members and the wider technology function
Key Skills:
- Strong experience administering and supporting Citrix environments in enterprise settings
- Proven expertise in NetScaler technologies
- Experience managing incidents within structured IT service environments (e.g. ITIL)
- Strong infrastructure monitoring and performance management experience
- Experience delivering technical projects within infrastructure teams
