Summary: My Local Authority client in Devon is seeking a Children's Transformation Programme Manager on a contract basis to lead a complex transformation program aimed at supporting children and families in crisis in Plymouth. The role involves coordinating multiple workstreams to enhance services for children in residential care and foster families. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in children's transformation within a Local Authority context and will focus on improving stakeholder engagement and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

My Local Authority client in Devon is looking to appoint a talented Children's Transformation Programme Manager on a Contract basis.

The role will pull together multiple workstreams to help support children and families in Plymouth that are need crisis support and potentially residential care.

About the role:

Based in Yorkshire (hybrid):

  • Lead a complex programme of transformation, with focus on Children in residential care, matching them to foster families.
  • Improve and develop the service to better support foster carers and enable them to take on children with specialist needs.
  • Scope and build Council-run care homes in the city to keep children near their families and support networks.

You will have the following experiences:

  • Extensive experience in Children's transformation, in a Local Authority context.
