Summary: The Order Management Specialist serves as the primary contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle, managing the order-to-invoice process in both international and domestic contexts. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact point for customers, managing enquiries, order placements, and updates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across regions
- Process and manage customer orders accurately and within agreed turnaround timelines
- Ensure all orders are compliant, complete, and aligned with service and commercial requirements
- Coordinate closely with credit and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing
- Proactively track and monitor order progress, ensuring timely delivery and resolving potential issues
- Communicate updates to customers, including delivery timelines, changes, or supply constraints
- Escalate risks or issues that may impact delivery or customer satisfaction
- Record and manage customer complaints and non-conformances within internal systems
Key Skills:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or higher in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Lean or process improvement certification is an advantage
- Experience in shared services or customer operations environment
- Exposure to oil & gas, logistics, or industrial sectors is advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
